TO WHOM DO I TURN?TO WHOM DO I TURN?TO WHOM DO I TURN?
Cold and alone Shivering like a leaf
Away from the uncaring world Stricken with grief
Thinking of friends Who pretend to care To know it's not real Is too much to bear
A lonely friend Engulfed in self pride Intoxicating to talk to Our friendship denied
A dog that won't fetch Nor defend the land So lifeless and dull I don't understand
My kind-hearted brother Sits quietly with Downs Unable to speak Wearing miserable frowns
Parents who know By the stripes

The Last WordA man was struggling down the road, stumbling. He bore huge chains, with sharp, jagged edges. The chains, painful even to look at, were engraved with ugly words: hatred, bitterness, lust, greed. The chains lacerated him, tearing apart his soul with worry, poisoning his heart with depression; resentment, fear and guilt obscured his footprints. The shear weight of them was crushing; they dragged him towards the ground. At first, he struggled violently, but the chains only cut him deeper, they entangled him worse, choking out his life. Clinging to him, they pierced his heart again as hThe Last Word
